1) the 'stealers can't fight again untill the next assault phase.
2) you maynot fire any 'rapid fire' type weapon and assault in the same turn. even if you only fire 1 shot, you're still pooched! firing any 'rapid fire' type weapon prevents your from assaulting unless your model/unit has a special rule allowing it to do so! (such as chaos terminators)
also keep in mind you can't elect to 'single-shot' rapid fire guns within 12"... if you shoot you gotta shot both shots! something to remind your opponent's about when they try something like that with say, their plasma gunners?!
