I would give the command squad to the Chaplain, and give them jump packs (bits order). that will make for a MEAN honor guard. The command, kit out with storm bolter and power weapon and keep him with a tactical or dev squad where he is safe and boost the leader ship of your army. I'd give the assault squad some flamers and use them to help counter assault and thin lines with the flamers.
Just some preliminary ideas.
