Since she has never played, then I would say that you really shouldn't be concerned about who has the better army, or whatever. In fact, you should explain to her EXACTLY WHY you do EVERYTHING, that way she might be able to get some of the tactics and strategy of the game.
Also, start with the basics... move, shoot, assault. Then, go on to pychic powers, tanks, special mission objectives, etc.
I suppose pychic powers could be included in the first game since she is playing eldar though...
