As far as your idea goes on the vibro and falcon addition, that would actually sound very tasty, and something I'm going to try to do.
Would you say 2x or 3x vibro cannons in a squad? |
in 40k, even numbered squads maintain their scoring unit status longer and more efficiantly than odd-numbered squads. for example;
a 7-man space marine squad loses it's scoring unit status once it suffers 4 casulties.
a 6-man space marine squad still loses it's scoring unit status once it suffers 4 casulties, but it gives up fewer victory pts in the process!
it's the fact that you lose your scoring status once you suffer
over 50% casulties. even numbered squads therefore keep their scoring status more efficiently!
as for the vibro cannons, max out the squads i say! each platform comes with 2 crew so the numbers always even-out... your squad size will be either 2, 4 or 6 actual models so the math is already done for you!

maxing out both squads simply adds to the strength of the auto-hits the cannon causes which can only be a good thing!
cheers!
