armageddon patterns do have their uses, they just rely on being deployed smartly and the enemy having other things to shoot at. the lascannon has enough range to not need close proximity to be effective, so hide them at the back of your lines, maybe behind a russ to cut down the ammount of fire they recieve and snipe at the other sides tanks. the ability to move and fire a lascannon is enough to justify their cost imo. |
