The point is to be the first to get into rapid fire range and draw first blood and thin out your oppenents numbers. You just pretty much screw up your oppenent by putting him between a rock and a hard place. He either ATTEMPTS to assault around your devil fish, or he rapid-fires back at ya and basically forfits his ability to assault you anyway.
