abaddon was around in the great crusade 31M, so he must be at least 10K years now, and im guessing most the main astartes around the time of the great crusade were roughly 100 or so?
i doubt he was more powerful than horus at the time of the GC, he was only first captain of horus legion. although i dare say that now, in the 41st M, hes probably more powerful than horus was.
hmm i doubt tzeentch had anything to do with it, just a mess up on horus' behalf ^^
abaddon served horus first, emperor second. so he had already turned traitor without a second thought when horus said to.
im guessing primarchs are like astartes in that they dont have...anything down there... to father a child ye know?
no idea about the emperor.

Space Marines
do have stuff down there, but the question is whether they can do anything with it. They have to produce testosterone because that's what regulates the implants they receive, which is why there are no female Space Marines.
However, even if they had/have the capacity to father a child, they wouldn't because they're Space Marines! They life a harsh, unforgiving, and celebate life. They really are warrior monks: they fight, and they pray, and that's it. No messing around with the Sisters of Battle or anything like that. They're so chemo- and psycho-indoctrinated that I doubt they would give it a thought.
As for Chaos Marines, perhaps Slaaneshi Marines might try it, but I still don't think it could really happen.
