Ya I;ve noticed this too... most people outside the hobby think I paint fantastically but for me I consider the majority of my models above-average tabletop quality. It's possible these people are trying to just make more money off an uninformed buyer by adding "pro" and "master" but like you said any one with half a brain can figure it out.
