Troops
10x Tactical Squad
Power Weapon (for sarg) and flamer = 210
10x Assault
Power Weapon and Combat Shield (for sarg) = 270 Drop the combat shield. It and the plasma pistol from your Co. Master being dropped will nearly pay for the Death Co. Having jet packs. In fact, drop this squad all together and go for a nice baal pred or some type of armor. You really need it, and their intended strategy won't work all that well in a game.
Heavy Support
10x Deavastator
Plas Pistol (for sarg) 2x Las Cannon 2x Plas Cannon = 320 Drop the plasma pistol. Dev sergeants mantra = BASICS. In 1.5K you can't afford to tweak him AT all. Change the heavy weapon set up to 3x missile launcher (or 4) and 1x las cannon. In this low of a pts. value games, that is all you need.
Total= 1470
I need help rearranging this list so I can get the Death Company up to 10 models Quite simply put, you won't get your D.C. up to 10 models in list list whilst maintaining a list worth a crap., honestly.
The battle plan is put Lemartes in Death Company and Captain with the big assualt squad I will have Death Company on one flank and the assault on the other and have them backed up by a veteran squad each then have tactical squad and devastator squad in centre and split the devastator squad up due to combat squads 2 las cans in one and 2 plas cans in others. In all reality, you would work better letting the Chaplain stay in the air. Stick the captain (drop his jump pack for something else, or just drop it) with a tac squad... Drop the big assault squad down to five, or out of the picture. Buy a nice, big tac squad, stick the captain in in and shoot /mow down all who oppose.
The DC and Chaplain should be your spearhead up the middle. Their shock value should hit the enemy dead center. Plus, w/ out jump packs the Chaplain is going to make the DC useless, and vice versa.
This will destroy that part of the army, and force him to fold up his flanks to march in support to take care of the death co. use your two veteran assault squads to roll up the flanks and hit the units trying to plug the gap in the middle and just push the enemy further and further back
BUT the main thing I need help with is trying to fit in the extra 5 death company Like I said above.. It's just not happening. It won't, unless you want a totally useless list.
