I thought about doing that when I first got it, but I used the only binoculars I had on my IG Command Platoon. I should have a radio backpack I could use though.

I'd also second the use of sandbags, barbed wire, etc.. Perhaps false slats of wood across open points, with sandbags behind them, barbed wire over it, and some sort of BFG behind that?
