Hey Everyone,
For the painting contest in February I will be entering Field Marshall Sigismund von Höhenstaufen, Commanding Officer of the 501st Death Korps of Krieg 'Isenherz/Isenblut' and co-Lord Commander Militant of the Black Templars Lothar Kroh Crusade Fleet.
I'll be using the Forge World HQ Senior officer to represent Field Marshall SvH pretty much untouched as I think it captures what I'm going for entirely and the painting will really tell the story. I'm thinking on making sort of an elaborate base complete with regimental and crusade iconography in sort of a command center/cathedral setting but we'll see how that works out.
****Also with this log I'll be running a tutorial for how to paint lenses similar to the red ones I do for the 501st. I've only tried it with red so far but I'm sure the technique will be simmilar for other colors as well.****
