isn't the black rage some form of blood frenzy ? i seem to remember hearing that they not only lose all control over themselves, but often simply drink blood and tear their victims apart ?
haha hence the names "flesh tearers" and "blood drinkers" :P rather macabre names for an army, don't you think ?
the eldar avatar kinda has this flamey thing going on..he's the core of a planet or something exotic like that, and i think all energy or heat/flame weapons he is impervious to...which is a nice addition to being sheathed in fire and heat... :]
neither of these are expressly slaanesh, but same idea, right ? :]
