 Soul Drinkers
A while back, i picked up a copy of the Bleeding Chalice, i really enjoyed it...had a distinct twist to the standard SM of the Imperium...the Soul Drinkers actually broke free from the Imperium control and became the first "free" SM chapter, ie. renegades.
Well, i finished the book and then realized it was the 2nd book...i didn't read the 1st! D'oh!
Fusterated, i put the book away and forgot about it...for a few years...fastforeward...
I bought the Soul Drinker Omnibus 2 weeks ago...i has all 3 of the Soul Drinkers books combined into one...i'm more than half-way through and luckly, i forgot most of the book that i did read...
Anyway, if you enjoy reading WH novels, this one is sweet...free SM and they're not Chaos...finally!
there's also the fourth book out now...seems that there a lil civil war brewing in the Soul Drinker chapter itself...oughta be fun-stuff!
