Call of Duty 4 review I went out and bought CoD4 and I have to say that the graphics are amazing on it.
Visual: This is the games strongest point, character faces are perfect, and movements are smooth. you can deflate individual tires on cars and instead of shattering windows you put holes through them.
Play: the most prominent feature of the game is the ability to shoot through walls if your gun is powerful enough. This means that those pesky AI scripted bots can't hide from you! However it seems that even though you can shoot through concrete walls with certain guns, an oil barrel is out of the question.
Singe Player: Single player is great, each mission is new an intense, at one point you even get to man the guns on a C-130 Spectre. The storyline is well thought through and the difficulty levels are stunning. However the campaign is short. Very Short. You've got less then 4-5 hours playing time to look forward to.
Multiplayer: This is the part of the game that I hated. The dynamic unlock feature at cool at first, until you realize that your no match for anyone else with their sniper machine guns. The bullet penetration is the biggest let down. In singleplayer it's fine for this feature. However in multiplayer every level devolves into people sitting in their spawn behind walls and shooting their M-60's with upgraded rounds through the walls into the enemy spawns. It's not fun.
Overall I give it a 3/5. the Visuals and storyline only take you so far, once that over the game is dead.

"All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must seem inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near. Hold out baits to entice the enemy. Feign disorder, and crush him."
