you're not really doing much other than dancing about for the first 4-5 turns taking a few pot shots at the most expensive enemy models... then you drop the clowns off to go do their rending trick on a couple of smaller squads which you can likely bring below 50% with your charge...

lists like these are why I believe in rules like escalation... its a rule that all tournaments should use, at least on some maps... not to mention why sportsmanship should be a good part of your total score... Powergamers may still succeed in actual tersm of wins/loses... but they'll fail at sportsmanship and with the few maps they do lose at, they won't be winning any tournies!
Of course... this is not the thinking of GW...
I find the idea of seeing nothing but power gamers and their lists at the finals of the Grand Tourement quite scary...
