Default Painting tutorial: stubbley faces

yo to you all again

ok, following hot on the heel of the last one, here's a little teach on how to get that unshaven look on you minis (man that sounds rude )

so here we have our fully painted face

to get the foundation of the stubble thin down some codex grey to wash consistancy and give everything under the nose and cheeks 2 thin coats, and by thin i do mean thin

(due to a greymatter implosion i don't have a pic of this stage. sue me)

then mix up some codex grey, regal blue and chaos black in roughly equil amounts, maybe slightly less black and equilly as thin as the last wash, and get it into the crevases of the face between the cheeks and jawline, and in the creases of the mouth area. once this is dry hit the high area with another thin wash of codex grey and redefine the lower lip with dwarf flesh, you all done.
