Re: 1500pts of yellow gits. AKA imperial fists. I have my reasons for chooseing this list, and building it the way i have. well the CMD sqd and the cpt, are designed to be a counter attack unit. so they wait for anouther unit charge one of my front line Tac squads and the try and chew them up ASAP.
as for the Heavy amount of Big guns in the Tac squads. simple Really, i dont want them moveing all game. as an army list taht could complete objectives its not brilliant i grant you. but this list is nto designed to play like that. it can be moblie, just not very mobile. simply put, this army, will only have 3 effective turns of moveing. so the tac squads will leapfrog each other. effectively giveing me a weak but contin ues wave of shooting.
as for the tank hunter on the Heavy bolter sqd. you would not belive how effective that is. simply because of the sheer amount of shots they have im bound to get some penetrations. even on Armour 12 vehicles like dreados. its work for me in the past. many a time ive seen a dreado get chew up to hell, simply becasue of the sheer amount of shots a squad like this cna pump out.
