Okay, after posting my sister of battle cannoness and the recent ensntive from Ikarus to help the community more. and havinga very cool bertonia model sat on my desk for alittle over 4 months. i decided to get painting, and so, this tutorial was born, anyway on with the show:
Difficulty: not easy, it all really depends on the model. but overall. 3/5 stars
Okay what your going to need:
Detail brush
Fine detail brush, OR if you have one a 0000 brush.
Scab Red
Red Gore
Red Ink
Scorched brown
Skull white
STEP ONE:
very simple, just get a nice smooth coat of Scab red over the area your going to paint. might take 2 coats.
Result:
STEP TWO:
Paint a 1:2 mix of scorched brown and Scab Red into all the creases/recesses of the cloth/dress/clothes Etc.

Step Three:
Paint a 4:1 mix of Red Gore and Skull white onto all the rasied areas.
Result:
STEP FOUR:
Paint a 2:1 Mix of Red Gore Skull as Extreme highlights. (the model I painted did'nt require any of this so... sorry folks, no photos. however the sister of battle and Aunier both have this step)
STEP FIVE:
Glaze the red areas of the model with Red ink to merge all the highlights and shadeing.

well there it is from start to finish. this was not the best model to showcase the technquie, but its what ive got, 'The Lady in the Red Dress' as ive coem to call her will be entering my local GWs feburary painting comp, thats is i can ever figure out how to do her damn hair. ><
