In honesty, I would have watered down the red ink, so it creates a nice shade, brings the highlights together, but you don't get too much of a shine, I think the glaze is better off for things like armor, it really worked on your SoB.
And what colour hair are you thinking of? ... Best be blonde and blue eyed
