I'm looking forward to a new book. I've been talking to people and thinking about new units that they might put in. Makes me feel like something good is going to come out of it. The biggest thing I'm waiting for is 5 point Guardsmen. Saving 10 points per squad really begins to pile up. As far as new units go I was hoping for a warbuggy type of vehicle because sentinels don't cut it when you need to kill 2 or three whirlwinds. Also since they are looking back and adding things from the older versions I'd like to see a return of Human Bombs and Penal Legions. I'm just afraid that the game is a little too PG-13 now for that. They almost certainly will get rid of doctrines and find a way to put some of those upgrades directly into the list itself. Most of the doctrines will be lost but definitely not anything that would make any models obsolete. Carapace Armor would stay (hopefully not so horribly overpriced). It's hard to tell at this point what they will do though. |
My gripe with rough riders is, IG should have a bike or wheeled tank instead of horses and Vostroyans upsurped steel legion.I would like to see a unit like rough riders but on a bike.
