DeepStrikeing then Assualt? Okay, i went to my Local GW's Vets night Last night, planned to play 2 games and actually played none. ><
But thats beside the point. now anyone whos been keeping up with my blog entrys so far will have noticed im doing a Brand new Imperial Fists army, and when i got talking to some of the Local Vets about my army list, they simply said: Do a Lysander army, terminator nemisis.
i simply replyed: 'but that would mean fielding an all shooty termie army, not bad but i like the idea of ahveing a Termie chaplain back up by some Lightning claw wielding assualt termies, but i dont want to have to cart them around for the entire game in a land raider, so no.'
he then said: 'but you can assualt after you've deepstriked.'
and thats the reason behind all of this, i have played the 4th edition 40K rules since they've comeout, and i dont own a rule book. seriously bad i know, but forgive me. and since i cant find out who's right and whos wrong i was hopeing you people here at 40K terra might shed some light on the matter, after all, if termies can assualt after deestrikeing, they suddenly become alot more attractive to me at least.
so, can you assualt directly after Deepstrikeing?
