petey, thats a bit excessive. even my terse reply was a bit harsh considering i'm not a mod.

anyway. luthor. boring as they may be, the crusader squads are the bread and butter of the army. if you have the models for them, they are your best bet for cost effectiveness so i would go with them.

i think you are right not to go for the sword brethren just yet as they are too expensive at this level.

as for your characters, yes those points do mount up quickly don't they? but don't get distracted by the shiny stuff. just keep to power weapon, bolt pistol and if you can squeeze the points for it an iron halo (or get a chaplain that has the equivelent of these already).

just out of interest, are you going to be fielding an assault squad bodyguard if you give a jump pack to the chappy? i would, but even they are expensive for a worthwhile squad size
