Yeah, blizzard got lazy a couple of times
I mean, taking 90% of your material from someone else, mixing it up and adding your own stuff is one thing nobody can charge you for
Eventhough everybody know you stole the ideas (kinda like the The DaVinci code and many many other "best seller" things including windows and such) nobody can charge you for it.
On more than a couple ocasions though Blizzard actually used GW names for the things they took from GW.
Gyrocopter, Steamtank, other such things.
I mentioned those two becuase i haven`t cared about blizzard in ages and that`s the last thing i remember (they changed the names in TFT to flying machine and Siegetank or warmachine or something).
I am planing on playing SC2 but it`s a love/hate thing. I`ll enjoy it for a while, hate it for a while, ejnoy it again.
What makes it harder for me to forgive BLZ is the insanely dumbed population that at every other minute has to yell STARCRAFT CLONE or WARCRAFT CLONE at every single game. Even game reviewers had thise disease for 5 or so years.
If it weren`t for that fact i could forgive Blizzard for plagiarising so much
I couldn`t forgive them for some other game related elements though
There is a reason you need 50/100 click per minute to get your units to move the way they should and 100/200 to get them to actually win a tourney.
