No offesnse killer... but Chaos Space Marines does not mean "chaotic" space marines...
The Chaos Gods are the 4 most powerful warp beings currently in existance... they are the thoughts of the races such as mankind and eldar made manifest. They are despair, rage/anger, hope (of change), and perfection. They have names, these names differ from culture to culture, but we know them as Nurgle, Khorne, Tzeentch and Slaanesh.
These beings are the called the chaos gods because they are not logical... they are unlogical... a planet devoted to Khorne is one of eternal violence. A planet devoted to Tzeentch is a maelstrom of bright colors and everchanging policies, etc.
The word Chaos is a bit of a misnomer I admit, but the chaos space marines are still space marines, they simpy follow a different creed and religion than normal space marines... that is the key difference.
