Default Thinking of Starting grey knights

Ello ello, I've decided that once I'm finished my eldar army I want to make some sort of army containing grey knights, the models, the fluff, everything really just calls to me to make a army including them! Now the question is what do I field them with? I don't want to make a pure grey knight army for various reasons such as the cost, the supposed inefficiency, and they don't seem as important if you have a whole bunch of them.

So first off I was thinking of pairing them up with imperial guard, I wanted to take a grey knight termi squad with hero and 2 regular grey knight squads with a dread and maybe a landraider crusader, how would that fit into a IG army? They seem to compliment each other very well and it would definitely make my GK's standout

Secondly I though up a very cool idea to make a illuminati dark angles successor space marines chapter. They were once a large chapter until an assault by chaos, most of them died and the very few that lived were holed up in a bunker and possessed by daemons only a very few (20) survived this and through force of will and faith drove the daemons out, they were rescued by an illuminated inquisition force and have thus slowly rebuilt, recruiting only illuminated humans and have close ties with illuminated grey knights) Pretty much field the same grey knights force as above and definitely use some cool dark angels models and bikes.

Thirdly the pure inquisition force, Either with an inquisitor and storm troopers or allied with witch hunters and again with the previously mentioned
GK units (not to fond of this cause a friend of mine already plays SoB's)

Any comments on how to start off with these guys are appreciated, thanks.
