Yeah, I agree to an extent.
However, this is how the game would go:
-Deploy troops and tanks.
-Tanks A attack Tanks B, Troops A attack Troops B.
-Tanks A destroy Tanks B. Then Tanks A helps Troops A attack Troops B.
-Troops B fight both Troops A and (vainly) Tanks A.
So, it'd end up with one side left of only troops, and the other side with troops and some tanks left just absolutely massacring the opposition.
In real life standards, yeah a tank should be nearly indestructible to a normal soldier. But in the fairness of a fictional tabletop game, it should still be possible. Otherwise it'd be a "whoever can kill the other side's tanks first wins" strategy.
