I agree i usually take the bolters over he hvy flamer but you can take out entire units with the flamers if you possition the russ right. on the other hand bolters are generally more useful in everyday situations. just a oppinion but in mine they are worth it.

in mass though I have herd it said that the base russ with bolter instead of the lascannon is the best bet this is true i think if you are going to go with a leman russ contingent for the hvy support like 3 of them. stirp em down and let em go.
