Cause they aren't the other guys! Shooty pansies, Tau. Why do I like CSM? Hmmm. Superhuman warriors enhanced by dark powers! Freedom, of sorts. They seem to me the only race in the 40k universe who choose their own fate (although noone wants to be a gibbery spawn!). I like their versatility in game terms, especially Black Legion. Bezerks for CC, 1kSons for shooty death (I prefer up close and personal), Death Guard for digging in, Slaanesh for nice midrange shooting and quick assaults. Not to mention most SM vehicles, freakin Oblits, and Daemons (I don't use em yet, but soon!) 5 man LC termie squads that can all be Aspiring Champs, versatile Chosen, and cool special characters. What's not to love?
