actually, the geek community (D&D, games workshop, star wars, etc) is regarded as a cool thing in malta where i live. for such a small palce (the country has less than 400,000 people) the geek community is very prevalent and widespread. most people up till the age of 30 know about either gw and/or D&D and most people regard it as cool, this includes girls who arent really interested in it. theres a respect for it i **** remember from my days living in norwich.

and i saw screw tyhe significant other of they dont apprecate what i do. like it or not fantasy and sci-fi are my life, they have been since i was a kid, they will be till the day i die. if someone im going out with doesnt respect or understand that, then theyre not someone i want to be with. call it harsh, but thats the way i think of it - i a girl (or even justa friend) thinks what i do is stupid, i dont need them as friends since this is who i am.

luckily i don t have that problem since most people in malta respect or just plain like what im into.

rant over
