the dire wolves are plastic as far as i know, as are the ghouls. i'm a bit hot/cold about the new VC minis. i really like the skellies and grave guard, as well as the wolves...but some of the vampire models are so ugly and i'm not a fan of the ghouls at all. and it's a shame the black knites didn't get a new kit
but i suppose blood knights more than make up for that
