Okay the list was used wensday of last week.
Game: Recon
Level: Highest
Armys: Imperial Fists VS Space Wolves
Result: Space wolf Victory
Reasons: simple, I played Defensively, and he had ALOT of bloodclaws.
the landpeeders did F*%^ all. they manged to kill 1 marine a turn before they died. which was turn 3.
the 5 man with RL did very well, making up its points and then some.
thge socuts....the snipers killed off 8 marines, and then were butchered in CQC in turn 3
the command squad didnt do what it was designed too, but performed well none the less. it held up a 12 man bloodclaws squad, a SW capatin and wolfpriest for 3 turns. not too shabby.
the dreados, Karl was blitzed by a squad of wolfscouts with meltguns. and franz, held up anouther squad of bloodclaws for 4 turns before finally dieing in turn 6. not too shabby at all.
the rhinos, now, despite what Ultramar belives they did brilliantly well. they did not make up thier points, but they caused a hell of alot of humilliation. they both, rhinos 1 and 2, tank shocked the wolf scouts half way across the board after they destoryed Karl, and then kept them running by staying close enought to cause them to keep running. ^^ not bad for 116 points, they took 200 points of wolfscout outta the game for 4 turns, just by driveing them over repatedly.
the tac squad mounted in rhino, while the rhino was off tankshocking the brains out of the wolfscouts, they killed off a half strength squad of bloodclaws, before getting charged for a second time by a SW tac sqd (I forget what there called) and dieing misearbly, not causing any wonds. the predator, killed off 6 marines, and then exploded in turn 6.
the only unit left alive at the endgame was the five man scouts with bolters and missile launcher.
in the nd, my opponent, had half a squad into my deployment zone. then however, i discovered the level of game we were playing (i dont usally bother with that, i just play and have a good time, we needed the level becasue of the mission at the end, working out VP's) max level, so Vp's only. so, it was a minor victory for the SW's in the end.

Ny failings:
I deciede right from the start to play defensively, something this army is not designed for. then again, i was playing SW's, and in a staright fight i would have undoubtedly lost and the game would have gone very diffrently, but with the same outcome.
really, for that perticular army to play agianst (plus my oponenst list, something im going to be taking him up on is his wolf preist, i own a copy of codex SW's and after RE-=Reading it after the game, i discovered he CANNOT use his nathacarium, on a wolf priest, as its a character model, and they cannot use the natacarium on themselves. so, he would have been dead early on from Heavy bolter fire on my end, if had not got a natacarium. so, something to take him up on when i see him next) but all in all. im not ready to scrap this army just yet, i plan to play it a few more times before taking it back to the drawing board, and the rhinos, despite peoples opinions of them, are very handy, and just for the sheer humilation factor of makeing 150+ points of wolfscouts run halfway across the board. i would have paid for 4 let alone 2.
