The Inquisitor Julius Sedaire Some of you may know him from the RP.. Some of you know him from my fluff (if you've helped/listened)... Some of you don't even know him.
But fewer than all these is those who know my true plans.
I start gathering and pricing materials on this weekend for a suit of power armor to fit me.
A bit of Background... Julius is a man born to a Terran descent rogue trader and a Baal (blood angels homeworld) woman who was a psychic null in the service of an Inquisitor. His father piloted the Inquisitor about, and in return, the Inquisitor ignore some of the more trinket like artifacts that went missing from his missions.
Julius himself has close ties to the Blood Angels Chapter, due to his mothers blood. He has done enough with them, their artificers presented him with a archaic inferno pistol from their own forges. (This is being made by a dear friend)
His armor is a gift from the Mechanicum for the help in recovering an STC that helped to reveal lost ways of structuring olfactory bionics. It is plain, and simple, as is the man himself, and is rumored to be a relic from the heresy. Certainly, it's markings are of an older pattern. (hopefully I will be making this)
The sword he bears (in actual terms, I will be wearing a replica of Sanguinius sword, as close as humanly able to replicate anyway) is of unknown origins, and he guards it jealously, letting few even touch it.
So.. You have the basic ideas behind my Inquisitor's persona...
Now.. I was thinking maybe MK IV or VI for the armor? I don't want shiny MK VIII, y'know? And MK V's studs woudl be a hassle, as would the banding and plates of MK II/MK III.. So which one out of IV/VI armor MK's woudl you suggest?
Also... I need to decide on colors for the armor, any detailing of the pistol, and what else I will be wearing.. Should I do a hood/robe? A furry, Coteaz-esque cape/cloak?
Depending on final costs, I may even get some fun theatrical contacts.
