for safty's sake and to play more to the law of averages, i'd say go with heavy bolter servitors for only 5pts more than a plasma gun guardsman! and don't forget to give your inquisitor a psycannon either - it's the easily the best gun he can have!!!

haha true...but i just like the sizzling burniness of plasmaguns..for some reason i've always loved them. i'll probably make some fluff up so it won't be NEARLY so absurd to have so many plasmas haha. my army also lacks severely in anti-tank, so i'm thinking that's what i'll use him for...watch half of my inquisitor's retinue die in one turn to misfires XD
the HB is good too, throws out safer shots for only a few more points :]
