I'd say the Ad Mech would split straight down the middle as in the Heresy.
Death Watch would OBVIOUSLY go with SM... So There is the Ordo Xenos.... Certain IG regiments which are stationed on SM home worlds wouldn't likely turn... Daemonhunters would go w/ SM due to Grey Knights.. I think the Radical members of the Inquisition would side with the IG merely because the SM are such staunch puritanicals 9/10 of the times that they naturally butt heads.
The Radical and Rogue SM Chapters would likely wait in the wings or side with the SM.
As far as actual populaces/planets.. I highly doubt many w/ out staunch IG bases would go against the SM.. The terror and fear/awe the general citizen holds for them would be far too great to overcome.
I also think the Minisortium would be divided, as would the Sisters of Battle, merely because of the fact of some of the more pious marine chapters seens by membvers of both the above as being attacked for no reason.
The more and more religious an organization, the more I see it splitting off rather than siding one to the other, except for certain ones...
who would the arbites side with, I wonder? And the Navigators?
