Introductory speech:

Well Ladies (possibly) Gents (probably) and others ( Definitely), i do believe its nigh time to introduce myself, after many months of brow bashing, moaning, general abuse by my mates at GW Leicester and "Tim, Tim!! there is this great WH40k forum on the internet, its amazing join now! *poke poke poke*", I figured it was high time to do some introducing, and so here i am. I did do a much better intro than this the 1st time, but when i hit "Submit" the internet ate it and my computer crashed. Maybe it doesn't want me to join..... So, A big hello to all you people that will, i hope, become good friends in time, this is who i am, by George don't try to change me! Currently 18 years i have successfully lived through and am now partaking my 2nd year of A-levels (young git). As you will find as you try to press though this wad of text that have been assigned the rough title of an "Introduction", you will see that sanity and punctuation are not my strong points, but bear with me, or don't, and spend 5 minutes of your life doing something more worthwhile, like finishing the sculpting on that left hand that currently just doesn't quite look right (no pun intended).

How did you find 40KTerra.com?

After 3 months of sitting through peers talking about it on veterans night and gaming club, I thought I may as well see what all the fuss was about, and so after spending a good half an hour fully establishing that this site's URL is not "www.40kterror.com" (yes, have a good laugh, but in passing conversation that is what it very much sounds like) and then through 3 unsuccessful attempts to create an account (I REALLY dislike image verification) and then 1 failed introduction (mentioned earlier) here i am. Finally.

Basic info:

As mentioned above, 18 yrs old. I have been into this hobby for (and when I calculated this earlier, although I'm sure its not as long as some, this amount of time really has flown by, it seemed far too long, but it is in fact correct) 6 years, by starting with that "other" games system LOTR. I then moved on to this king of games systems, Warhammer 40000, starting against the apparent trend of most of the people of the age i was then, with Chaos Space Marines and not those Emperor Sworn Blue guys, with then garish yellow trims, the Ultramarines. Have dabbled in most of the specialist games that fly off 40k also and have fully enjoyed them. Got me an Orlock hive gang from the slums of necromunda, and have been for some time wanting to fnally stop using proxys and buying an imperial fleet and a decent Epic force. Out of the hobby, i'm a full on nerd and science geek (insert suitable geeky noise) with a passion for EVE online (the greatest MMORPG) and many other computer games. I am the owner of an impressive ubermullet and quite a profound gut as some of my peers are all to keen to point out (a mention to The Barnet here). At this point, for those who have lasted the read so far, congratulations, you are half way, go grab a cuppa (or a coffee), have a sit down, watch some normal telly, and try to regain some sanity before reading on.

Other Names include "ogre" (Gaming Club nickname)

Armies owned:

Currently a Space Marine Army gong by the name of the "Storm Angels" ( a divergent Ultramarine chapter) and an armoured (yes, with a "u") Company called the 2nd Armoured Fortis Binars (readers of gaunts ghosts will know where i got this one from) which nobody seems to want to play for some reason.... . Past armies have included a Splinter of Hive Fleet Kraken, and a small detachment of World Eaters (post heresy, when they are REALLY angry) as mentioned above. Currently looking perhaps into doing an inquisition force (witch hunters maybe) some point in the future (when i have the money, those metals aren't cheap). Although I'm pretty erratic and impulsive when it comes to my armies so this probably won't happen.
