I have to disagree. The GW catalogue also has a lot of nice pictures of conversions, golden daemon winners, etc...
I know the '06 Catalogue inspired my Adonis conversion, which inspired the current army i'm doing.
for pure buying purposes, it isn't as useful. But it has some lovely conversions, and used to even have little 'conversion kit' ideas. It's where I got the idea to build my terminator w/ the Tyrus pads and obliterator legs.
