Their basic weapons (Splinter Weapons) aren't that great in fact.
A splinter rifle is S3 AP5 24" rapid fire.
The pistol is the same but a pistol.
BUT where they really come into their own is the heavy and special weapons!
Splinter Cannon S4 SP5 ASSAULT 4!!!!! 24"
Dark Lance S8 AP2 Lance, heavy 36" Lance means that armor above 12 only counts as 12, basically it can penitrate/glance that lovely land raider on a +4
Shredder S6 SP- Assault 1, 12" Blast
Blaster S8 AP2 Assault 1, 12", lance.
What is really worrying is that a warrior squad can take two dark lances/splinter cannons AND two shredders/blasters for only 40 pts for all four weapons no matter the combo one takes! + Every transport can take a Dark lance
War gear for Characters:
Terror Fex Assault 1 12" Blast. No damage but causes the unit hit to take a pinning test at -1 leadership for every model after the first one hit!!! And its wargear so that character can still have two weapons!!!
THIS is only shooty stuff...just read the Dex over for the CC stuff...
