im sorry but the black templars got a codex cause they were so out there in their ways and doctrin. think does any other chapter mentioned, except the white scars, have a very unique game play? ill list it off

imperial fists- seige experts= gun line
raven wing- hit and run/ infiltrating= assault marines EVERYWHERE
iron hands- gunline and tech= lots o' tech marines and big guns
salamanders- firery shoot em assaulty bastards= termies and flamers EVERYWHERE

most of these do not have overwhelming traits that are off color from vanilla marines, black templars do not have a lot of shyte, their dogma and doctrin are completely different from all the other chapters. no librarians, no scout squads, no devistators, ccw EVERYWHERE, completely different playing style.

the marine codex is set up so you can build the chapters your talkin about, hell the chapters are listed in the trait system so you can play those chapters truly. im not tryin to be an ass about it but ive had this conversation with many other GW employees and they say the same damned thing. the reason the wolves , blood and dark angles have there own codexs cause of their unique playing styles and organizations. im not saying the others are not unique its just these few are alittle ****her off the deep end then most if you get my drift (i mean they are fraggin nuts!!)
