This whole project actually came about due to high winds knocking some slate tiles from my roof. What I came up with was a constuctive use of the smashed roof tiles. Below I have included pics and this has only taken me 2 days to get this far.
first here are the components...
White glue (£1), Roof Slate, smashed up (free), Poker chips (Gotten for £5, in after Xmas sales), and decorative planting sand (wife picked this up for £1.37 at a popular discount food chain)
First step is cover one side of poker chip with white glue, then add a few slate chips and then fill in gaps with the sand....
The next 2 images show the various painting steps, base coat black, then dry brush shadow grey, then highlight with fortress grey
And....
Lastly is a pic of a terminator on the base.....
