Well, they are doing away with traits. Not saying they'll be doing away with ways to alter your army. I can't say any more though, but you'll see.

A wee reminder that Chapter Traits were developed from the Guard Regimental Doctrines, which was a brilliant, if never fully utilised creation of the studios - since the codex was released I am only aware of 1 further doctrine being created and published, and it appears in this online article.
