They gave me a shot or two of Demorol while in the hospital. That stuff can knock out a fricking elephant! Then I had the scopotomy thing, where they shove a tube with a camera down yer throat (thank goodness they didn't use the other route, as planned!) and I don't even remember it! I've got enough painkillers in me to last at least a week! Stupid rookie nurse blew a vein twice in my left hand before someone compentent come and put one in my right, and they both still hurt.
