His changing views were brought about by his own stubborness.
He damned himself by the methods he used to recapture Cherubael.
He should have destroyed the Maleus Codicium straight away like he did with the Necrotauch. And to hell with the Daemon.
Why he didn't destroy Pontius Glaw in Xenos is beyond me too.
Stubborness again I suppose.
Look at the way that ended up.
