Re: 1550 point gaurd thanks part of the problem is that these are almost all of the modles I own with exception of a 5 mand ratling squad I was consitering investing in some heavy weapons and making and fielding at least one or two platoons instead of the tanks but I worry about mobility sense chances are they are not going to be deployeed in a bennifecial possition.
as for your infantry issue I was consitering expanding the current platoon the 5 squads and getting a conscript pplatoon4 squads as well. although at this point I may include in squad heavy weapons when you use them you either loose the ability to fire or loose the ability to move. as for flamers I find it difficult to get them in possition to be useful and not get killed in the process. grenades are a good idea. Ihave a bit deficency with them though as i used the three extras I had to make home made heavy bolters
I guess the reason I feild the serviters and techpriest is because I have a lot of tank investment and with 3 servitors it is only a 3 to fix. but perhaps a squad of hardend vets wold do better maybe ogryns to balance out fire with a little CC ability. what do you think |
