As for what happened to Eisenhorn, I think it is supposed to go on in the Inquisitor game, but there's no real storyline. I think it's good that Abnett ended it where he did because otherwise it might be like Gaunt's Ghosts: interesting reads, but gets a little repetitive after a while. |
I found the first book in the new GG series, 'His Last Command' to be a bit darker than the old GG books. Their experiences on Herodor has changed them and Gaunt seems to be a very different man. Could make for an interesting twist and liven things up for them. And that makes for troops from 3 worlds in the regiment. Conversions anyone?
