Yes its 2am and I have not been able to sleep. If this is what a plague marine goes through, then I totally agree with them having an initiative 3.
Since the great ones play hurt, I have decided to paint a few more ships. I like to pretend to be one of the greats.
I have also decided to show the Nurgle faithful the secret of "ass stain green". This should probably go in another thread, but I dont want to provoke anyone itching to use a flamer or two
Here is the ass stain secret.
1) primer (this is the easy part)
2) base coat with Camo green (still pretty easy)
3) with Catachan green watered down, use as an ink over all. I literally dip my brush in paint then dip it in a cup of water and work into a wash. (this takes some trial and error)
4) and bone white to Camo green to lighten it by dry brushing or thinly paint on. This step is important, it will give you your highlights after the final step. SO a good amount of bone white to Camo green is required. About 70white/30green, give or take.
5) Finally add Scorched Brown and use it the same way as the Catachan Green. Water down to a wash
There you go ass stain green!
If you want to add metalics to the figure. paint it on between steps 4 and 5. Hit the metallcs with the final wash also.
Since you guys like pics, my last 5 terminators using the technique above (bringing my total to 11). Green stuff was required on these bloated beauties
