Sun = Sol
As far as i know Helios is the greek name for the sun god, the Romans took the god and called him Helius, but they didn`t really use him in theyr myths that much.
Eventhough early on they (romans) used a LOT of greek names they changed them quite fast, Helios turning into Apolo, Gaia into Terra, Artemis into Athena, Zeus into Jupiter and so on and so forth.
Honestly, safe for Zeus, i prefer the Roman names

But still, they had SOL(is) for sun and Apolo for sun god.
