I am thinking a dark green, mix it with a bit of black to darken it up a bit. then a light drybrush of a bone white or Putrid flesh to bring out the highlights.
I would also run a brown ink over the skulls to make them look old and nasty.
Just some thoughts,

Ya but the black wings look pretty sweet on my blood thirster, how ever i will give dry brushing a dark green\black lightly over them to see what it dose.
