Rippers are the Precursor to all Tyranid organisms. The Ripper seems to be the closest to the "original" Tyranid organism as we can find. Every single 'Nid has evolved from this as it's humble begining. In short, a 'Fex is just a giant, modified Ripper (as is everything else) |
