so like what you want to do is run bassies and russes in a 'radical' SM army ? i guess one solution would be to use the iron warriors rules [though i hear they've totally been screwed over, alas !] but you could try doing that for getting some IG tanks. another way is to use the allies rules, i'm pretty sure that would let you do so...well, pretty sure. there might be restrictions on heavy support, so i'm not completely sure.
in a pick up game, or with your friends, i don't see why they couldn't simply let you... :P
