 the battal for the bridge
I think it is fair to mention that jeremy did not hve a 1500 point force to take against my gaurd so I had to dumb down my force to meet him at 1100 points.
it was discovered that this world abanded by the tau contained a bridge with a planatary teleportation device a two day march into battle could thus be accheved in seconds. this being a noticable advantage to anyone who controlled the bridge the impeariam had to take it. the orks in the area knowing nothing about the teleporter only that the gaurd must be bloodyed and attacked with there speedy forces. after suffering massive causualties at other key areas they consilidated there forces at the bridge in a hope they can launch a counter offencive from that possition.
but the gaurd was ready for this and in the end choped the head from nearley every ork on the map seizing the bridge for them selves. in the end the day was bloody on both sides but the bridge now controoled by the impeariam grants a new hope against any new foes which may emerge on this forgotten world |
